People are fools

Me: Have you ever been on this medication before?
Patient 1: No.
Me: Do you have any questions for the pharmacist?
Patient 1: No I'll just swallow it and see what happens.

Me: Do you have any questions for the pharmacist?
Patient 2: Yes, I've never been on this medication and I don't know anything about it. Oh and can you ring up my fried chicken too?
Pharmacist: Well this medication (HCTZ) is one of the most responsive to high blood pressure. It's the first line of defense when you are just diagnosed with high BP, so it's a good medication to be on. etc, etc.
Patient 2: Thank you so much.
Pharmacist writes on a small piece of paper and slips it to me (because I was helping someone else): HCTZ + fried chicken??

I hope everyone knows, that we all laugh at you (if you happen to be a fool like these people) when you leave the pharmacy. But I know that no one reading this blog is a fool, so rest assured you are not mocked.

Oh my gosh! I can't believe that people would say that! That is so alarming! And you know if something goes wrong that they'll try to sue you...sooo dumb! Haha!
