So my mom was running for governor of Colorado. Don't ask me why. It was a long and painful race (for my dad since he did everything), but it is now thankfully over.
My mom sometimes gets these crazy ideas in her head like, "I think I'm going to run for governor," and just runs with it. She did however beat out 9 other candidates in the preliminaries and made it to the state assembly.
The state assembly was in Loveland, CO this year at the Budweiser events center. There were thousands of people there and my mom had to give a speech to them all. Little did I know that I would be going on the stage with her and my family. I thought I would be safe in the stands, watching and taking pictures. I would have looked so much better if I knew... But since I was on stage I couldn't take any pictures and so I don't have cool photos to post. Here are some links though, not because you are interested, but for my keeping :)
