Last night my Dad and I had a daddy-daughter date to the ballet! It was a blast. We saw Beauty and the Beast at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House inside the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
The ballet was great and I had such a fun time going with my Dad. We both LOVE the fine arts and it was fun to go with someone who also loves the ballet. The complex was HUGE, right in the heart of downtown. And for anyone who knows me I LOVE downtown areas.
I haven't been to a fine arts performance in Denver for a long time, since I've been living in Utah for the past 5 years, so this was really refreshing.
I forgot how fancy it was at the opera house. My dad and I were dressed nicely, but so many people were in cocktail dresses and suits sipping on their fine wine.
The only bad thing about the night was the Korean family sitting in the row in front of us. They had the worst Kimchi breath and I could smell it all night! Peee yew!
